Individual Contributors

As an Individual Contributor in CEO-S Software, information about what's actually going on in the organization starts with you. While the strategy, direction, and priorities of the company are set by your CEO and leadership team, it's you who communicates about the work being done week to week and how it's aligning with the established priorities.

CEO-S Software isn't just a way to view your own performance—it's a way to see how your goals affect the department and company goals. In CEO-S Software, you can view the entire goal hierarchy, starting with your own goals and following the chain all the way to the top of the organization.

Creating Your Goals

You will work closely with your manager on creating your goals in CEO-S Software each quarter. These goals may be linked up to team goals or other goals in your company. Other employees can also create goals that contribute to yours.

Start by reviewing the company goals each quarter. Understand the direction the company is moving. Then, look at your manager's goals. Begin drafting your goals based on those goals, asking your manager for direction as needed. Submit them to your manager for approval, then look for email notifications about your manager approving your goals or requesting changes to them—you'll find comments on your goal if your manager requests changes to your goal.
