Create an Appraisal
As the CEO or as a Manager in CEO-S Software, you are able to create appraisals at the start of the quarter covering each of your employees' performance over the previous quarter. (For example, you'll be able to do Q1 appraisals at the start of Q2.)
This timing allows managers and employees to have a complete set of data for the appraisal.
In order to create an appraisal, navigate to Talent and view your direct reports.
Then select the "Start Appraisal" button.
The form will open and be available to capture the employee's performance.
Notice that the Performance and Potential ratings are marked private. The ratings remain hidden from the employee.
After the appraisal is saved, it can be shared with the employee.
Once the appraisal is shared, the employee can complete their part of the process. They can begin by navigating to the "My Appraisals" tab and viewing their appraisal.
The employee will add their comments and signature, which will route the appraisal back to the manager for final signature. Once the manager signs it, the appraisal is locked and can no longer be edited. It can be printed for upload into an HRIS system if desired.
The appraisal dashboard reflects the updated status at each stage of the appraisal workflow so managers can easily keep track of where they are for each of their employees.
