The CEO Role

CEO-S Software was built by a CEO, for the CEO. Your job as CEO keeps you incredibly busy, but we think there's little (maybe nothing) more worthy of everyone's time than establishing what our priorities are, ensuring we're all working together to achieve them, and communicating roadblocks along the way.

Creating Company Goals

As CEO in CEO-S Software, you're at the top of the organization. As such, any goal that you create and publish is automatically considered a company goal. By default, each person in the organization sees the goals you create as company goals.

If you want to manage a personal goal, you can create a goal and mark it private.

If you'd like to create a goal that isn't a company goal, you can create a contributing goal to an existing goal.

Other Capabilities

The CEO also has other permissions in CEO-S Software, including:

  • adding/removing employees in your organization
  • managing the org chart
  • granting admin permissions to yourself and other employees
  • creating and sharing the mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives for your organization
  • approving (or requesting changes to) your employees' goals
  • changing who owns goals (reassign goals)
  • changing how goals align to one another
  • documenting 1-on-1s with each of your direct reports
  • viewing every employee's appraisal in your organization
